This page showcases student "before and after" drawings.  The drawing on the left is from the first day of class while the drawing on the right is from the last.  The same still life is used for each but the students are not required to seek the same vantage point.  The only requirement is that the student use only that medium with which he/she is familiar.  There was no instruction or intervening on my part during these two drawing periods.
